Meet the Artist 2023

This was one of my first exercises last year in art school, a self-portrait with some of the things I like (video games, pizza, music, animation, comic books and journalism) and dislike (sea food and fascism, mostly), and all the stuff I always carry in my backpack.
I tried to have fun making an over-the-top anime style avatar and a hidden realistic portrait behind it. I love drawing tiny details and that is how I eventually lose my sanity. In hindsight, another thing I don't like so much today is color pencils. It was lots of fun, though.
